Tidbinbilla Pioneers Association members are descendents of European families who lived around the Tidbinbilla and Tharwa area from the mid 1800s ,members provide colourful accounts of Tidbinbilla's past the joys and hardships faced by pioneers living in rammed earth buildings farming the land and supporting eucalyptus oil distilleries ,boasts a strong and passionate connection to Tidbinbilla and heritage sites such as Rock Valley and Nil Desperandum homesteads
